About Chapters
Because chapters across the state focus on issues of concern in their respective regions, programs and services vary. It has been proven that counties that have a local Arc presence have more services for individuals with developmental disabilities than counties without an Arc presence. Local chapters are also more accessible to their local constituents and officials.
Membership in a local chapter offers families of individuals with developmental disabilities a support structure as well as access to needed services. Membership is also open to professionals in the field of developmental disabilities, self-advocates, and to citizens interested in promoting the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities.
ABOUT THE MAP: Yellow areas indicate counties with an Arc presence.
