Common Ground

Common Ground is a group of adults with developmental disabilities who strive to be better self-advocates, learn their rights and responsibilities as citizens and enjoy social activities and outings. Common Ground is an open group and welcomes anyone with developmental disabilities who is interested in advocacy to attend.

At the client run meetings, members discuss general business and make decisions about Common Ground activities. Typically there are guest speakers on the 4th Monday of the month who discuss a wide range of topics about advocacy and community living.

To become a member of Common Ground, there is a nominal $5.00 membership fee to help support the program; however, you do not have to be a member to attend any of the activities or events. For more information please contact Waddell Smith at 479-1460 or email Ken King
