The Arc US Discussion Board
Participate in discussions covering a wide range of topics on The Arc United States Discussion Board "forums".
Some of the forums you can participate in are:
- Kitchen Table
Share what's on your mind. If none of the other forums fit a topic you want to discuss, share your thoughts here.
- Diagnosis and Treatment
Do you need some advice about a rare syndrome or a suggestion about a strategy for dealing with a particular disability? This is the place. This forum can be used also to talk about behavioral, nutritional and other related issues.
- Education
Discuss education issues here. Share your successes in getting your child the educational supports s/he needs or share a great education example. Ask questions about how to ask for what you want in terms of education. Talk about how to get adult education or other education topics.
- Caregivers
This forum is for those of you who support a person with mental retardation or a related developmental disability. Share your triumphs and challenges or ask a question. Residential support staff and others who support people in residential settings are welcome.
- Person-Centered Planning
Here's a place to discuss case management, social work and service coordination in person-centered planning and other forms of supporting individuals.
