Quality Management Specialist
Position Status: Full-Time
Location: Charlotte, Concord, NC
Education Requirements: Associate degree preferred and experience in data management and working in the human service area.
Experience Requirements: Candidate must have professional administrative experience, preferably in the human service field. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and in-depth understanding of data bases and data management, as well as the use of general office equipment. Candidate must be a motivated team player, flexible, hardworking, and organized, as well as have excellent problem solving and communications skills. Candidate should also be able to multi-task, prioritize their work, track details/data and execute all tasks with high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities: The Arc of NC is seeking a Data Specialist to support the work of the Quality Management and Compliance department. The Data Specialist will perform a wide range of duties including analyzing, interpreting, and organizing large amounts of data utilizing various online platforms, coordination of various processes such as incident tracking, human rights committee processes, maintenance of electronic health records, maintenance and implementation of the agency training platform, and other general office administrative tasks.

Tenant Service Coordinator
Position Status: Full-Time
Location: Mecklenburg and surrounding counties
Education Requirements: : Graduate from a four-year college or university in the field of psychology, social work, special education, or supporting individuals with I/DD and/or Mental Health Disorders.
Experience Requirements: Candidate must have a high level of professionalism and great communication skills. Must have some knowledge of federal, state, and local housing programs. Must have general knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental illness (MI).
Responsibilities: TheTenant Service Coordinator will serve as a liaison to The Arc’s Local Operating Units (LOUs) to improve the quality of life for our tenants. Primary responsibilities include: work close in collaboration with internal and external staff and partners to carry out the goals of the “Opening Doors Program; provide property management and general housing supports for people with IDD and SPMI; accept housing applications and help process them, assist with roommate matches and respond to local tenant requests for assistance related to the property; and provide one-on-one assistance to self-advocates, family members, staff and Chapters of The Arc and others to achieve their housing goals, collaborate with and support various entities as it relates to tenants’ rights and grievances.

Responsibilities: Providing breaks for caregivers, assistance with personal care, teaching skills to increase independence, promoting inclusion in the community. Related experience in direct care or special education is preferred but not required. Creativity, progressive thinking, strong advocacy skills, and knowledge of community resources are highly desirable. Qualified applicants must be 18 or older, current driver’s license, and pass background checks.
